Privacy

Delphious is used by students, and what students hand us is their schoolwork. This page says plainly what we keep, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it.

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to read this with you. If you are under 13, Delphious is not for you yet — we do not knowingly keep accounts for children under 13, and we delete them when we find them.

What we collect

Your account. An email address and a password, handled by our authentication provider. We never see your password.

What you study. Notes you type, files you upload (PDFs, documents, slides, photos of pages), topics and links you paste, and anything made from them — summaries, flashcards, quizzes, worksheets, plans, games, tools and lesson videos.

What you do here. Which quizzes you took and how you scored, which flashcards stuck, which days you studied. This is what the Progress screen is built from. It exists so you can see your own effort.

Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach us and we never store them.

Crash reports. When something breaks we receive the error and an account id — never your email, and never your lesson content. Notes, summaries, questions, answers and file names are stripped before a report leaves your device.

Who else sees it

Making a lesson means sending your material to the services that do the work. We send the minimum each one needs, and none of them are advertisers.

Google (Gemini). Your notes, uploaded files and topics, to write summaries, cards, quizzes, worksheets, plans and video scripts. When you ask us to teach from a link or search the web, the link and your topic go too.

OpenRouter. The lesson content a game or tool is built from.

GitHub Actions. Games, tools and videos are built on GitHub’s servers, so the lesson content they are built from passes through a build run.

Cloudflare. Hosts the games and tools you build, at their own web addresses.

Netlify. Hosts Delphious itself and this site.

Supabase. Stores your account, your work and your uploaded files.

Stripe. Payments and subscriptions.

Sentry. Crash reports, scrubbed as described above.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

What is private and what is not

Your notes, uploaded files and lesson videos are stored privately — reaching them needs a signed, expiring link issued to your account.

Games and tools are different. When you build one it is published to a web address that is hard to guess but not password-protected. Anyone with the link can open it. Do not put anything private into a game or tool, and retire it when you are done — retiring one removes it from your list and frees a slot.

How long we keep it

Your work stays until you delete it or close your account. Closing your account deletes your lessons, files, and the games, tools and videos made from them. We keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion of your account and everything in it. Ask through the contact form and we will act on it. If a parent or guardian asks us to delete a child’s account, we will.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects what we do with your work, we will say so in the app rather than quietly updating the date.
