Who can use it

You need to be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they are agreeing to these terms with you. One account per person, and you are responsible for what happens under yours — keep your password to yourself.

Your work stays yours

The notes and files you upload belong to you, and so does what Delphious makes from them. You give us permission to store and process your material for the single purpose of running the service for you — making your lessons, cards, quizzes, plans, games, tools and videos. Nothing else. We do not sell it, publish it, or train on it.

Only upload material you have the right to upload. Your own notes and photos of your own work are fine. Wholesale copies of a textbook are not.

What Delphious makes can be wrong

Summaries, quiz answers, study plans and especially tools that calculate things are produced automatically. We check tools against their own worked examples before publishing them, and we show you the method so you can see how a result was reached — but none of it is a substitute for your textbook, your teacher, or your own judgement.

Check the working before you rely on an answer, and never use a generated tool for anything where a wrong number matters — medical, financial, legal or safety decisions.

Your school’s rules still apply

Delphious is for studying. What your school allows on an assignment is between you and your school, and using this does not change their rules. Turning in generated material as your own work may well break them.

Credits, plans and refunds

Credits pay for the work of making something — a summary, a game, a video. They are spent when a job completes, not when you press the button, so a build that fails does not cost you. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and do not transfer between accounts.

Paid plans renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time and keep what you have paid for until the period ends. If something goes wrong on our side — you were charged for work you never received — tell us and we will put it right.

Games and tools you publish

When you build a game or tool it is published to its own web address. The address is hard to guess but not password-protected, so treat anything you build as public. Do not put personal details into one. You can retire a tool at any time, which removes it.

Your plan limits how many can be live at once, because each one is a site we host for you.

Fair use of the service

Do not attempt to break, overload or work around the limits of the service, resell access to it, or use it to produce material that is illegal, hateful, or intended to harm someone. We can suspend an account that does.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like, and doing so deletes your work — see the privacy policy. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

The legal part

Delphious is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available or always be right. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app rather than quietly updating the date. Questions go through the contact form.
